POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead Maintenance is responsible for the upkeep of equipment, training general maintenance staff, and ensuring standard procedures are followed for work safety and quality. This position also provides guidance, trains staff, and manages conflict

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Trains and leads general maintenance staff to ensure job duties are accomplished accurately in a safe manner within appropriate takt time.

Assists Supervisor with managing, guiding, coaching, and adjusting as needed to accomplish goal.

Orders and maintains supplies for department.

Maintains safety equipment and oversees material and maintenance projects.

Identifies, improves, and tracks safety, quality, and delivery opportunities.

Articulates problems, temporary containments, gap analysis, actions, and sustainment through an A3 process.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Certificate(s) or License(s): Forklift/Truck certified

Years of experience: 5+ years preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

Electrical skills

Able to read and understand schematics

Written and verbal communication skills

Understand SQDC metrics.
