Job Title: Multi Craft Maintenance Lead Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Lead Technician, you will be responsible for working on fully automated material handling equipment, including conveyors, sorting machines, cranes, transfer machines, palletizers, and shrink wrappers. You will also lead a team of 2-3 technicians, ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of the equipment.

Responsibilities

1. Perform maintenance and repair on electrical and mechanical systems.
2. Troubleshoot PLCs and conduct root cause analysis for equipment faults.
3. Read and interpret schematics to identify equipment issues.
4. Document activities conducted on equipment using Microsoft Office.
5. Supervise and lead a team of technicians.

Essential Skills

• Experience with electrical systems and mechanical maintenance.
• PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Hydraulics and pneumatics expertise.
• Preventive maintenance experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance leadership.
• Operation and setup of equipment.
• Fabrication and welding skills are a plus.
• Parts ordering experience is a plus.
• Experience using manual mill and lathe is a plus.
• Good work attitude during training is required.

Work Environment

Work in a cold storage environment with varying temperatures of 55, 34, and -5 degrees across different facility sections. Collaborate with a team of 37 members in the Maintenance Team while working around industrial machinery. Steel toe boots, coats, and gloves are required for safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a permanent position based out of Lancaster, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $82,160.00 - $88,400.00 per year.
