Short Intro and About the Job

At Danone, manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We have an opening for a Reliability Engineer/Maintenance Leader based in Fort Worth, TX. The Maintenance Leader is responsible for the equipment maintenance plan and breakdown analysis execution, championing equipment reliability and performance.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Review and prioritize work orders and notifications within 24 hours of generation.
• Ensure the work order backlog is current and sorted for reporting.
• Lead the review of previous job completion results, other maintenance activities, and today's plan in the Daily Meeting, adjusting plans as necessary.
• Support and coordinate planned stops, incorporating work orders and maintenance tasks.
• Lead scheduling of maintenance work for the upcoming week and month, aligning with the annual maintenance plan.
• Optimize startup and shutdown procedures with Line Leaders/Process Engineers.
• Update and revise 'Maintenance Technical Documentation' as needed.
• Create One Point Lessons (OPL) and train line teams in maintenance activities.
• Develop and update the annual maintenance plan and calendar.
• Track and utilize maintenance KPIs and in-process measures to assess equipment reliability and system progress.
• Monitor the health of Preventative Maintenance (PM), Daily Management System (DMS), and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop improvement plans based on maintenance indicators.
• Follow Change Management procedures for equipment design changes.
• Ensure equipment drawings and schematics are accurate and accessible.
• Collaborate with storeroom to manage parts inventory and procurement.
• Provide feedback on new equipment or line speed changes, participate in vendor testing, and support PM pillar initiatives.
• Support coaching and development of maintenance leaders within the plant and network.
• Achieve SQCDMN goals through individual and team efforts.
• Adhere to safety standards (WISE) to maintain a safe working environment.

About You

Preferred Candidate Qualifications:

• 4-year engineering degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years manufacturing experience with technical aptitude and leadership skills

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling systems
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Influencing and persuasion skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work in a fluid environment
• Problem identification and solution recommendation skills
• Self-directed with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to support 24/7 manufacturing, including overtime, graveyard shifts, and weekends
