Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Maintenance Lead for a food manufacturing facility in Knoxville on the first shift. The role offers hourly pay based on experience, plus an attendance incentive, with annual salary range of $62,000 to $72,000.

Qualified candidates will be multi-craft technicians with electrical and mechanical maintenance skills and the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment. Industrial experience, particularly in the food industry, is a plus. High school education required.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Multi-craft technician with electrical and mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read blueprints and measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain equipment across the manufacturing process.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding maintenance on equipment (e.g., vertical baggers, pumps, conveyors).
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Rebuild machines and overhaul components and attachments; dismantle, inspect, repair or replace parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.

Randstad has a Direct Hire opportunity for a Maintenance Lead for a food manufacturer in Knoxville! Opening available on 1st shift! Hourly pay is based on experience; plus attendance incentive!

Qualified candidates should be a multi-craft technician with knowledge in electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks and able to troubleshoot industrial equipment.Previous industrial maintenance experience, particularly within the Food Industry, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ability to install, repair, and otherwise maintain equipment relative to the total manufacturing process
• Work includes mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding operations associated with installation and repair of equipment such as but not limited to vertical baggers, pumps, and conveyers
• Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Rebuild machine and overhaul components and attachments which involves dismantling, inspection, repair or replacement of parts
• Preventative maintenance checks on various equipment to ensure safe operating condition
• Skilled in reading micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators, and other types of calipers
• Skilled at operations such as fitting / alignment of bearings, spindles and shafts, aligning and calibration of measuring devices and moving parts, adjusting and feeding mechanisms
• Ability to read and comprehend standard operating instructions or industrial blueprints in performance of job duties
