Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a safety-first manufacturing team. You will maintain extrusion and injection molding equipment, ensure uptime, and contribute to quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills, experience with PMs, changeovers, and parts repair, and can work 12-hour day shifts on a Monday-Thursday schedule with overtime on Fridays. High School required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• 3 years of electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience with extrusion and injection molding equipment.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with changeovers and parts repair.
• Knowledge of safety and quality adherence.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on extrusion and injection molding equipment to ensure uptime.
• Execute preventative maintenance procedures and improvements.
• Participate in equipment changeovers and ensure correct execution.
• Repair and rebuild spare parts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
• Expand expertise through training and hands-on projects.

*This position is a 1st shift shedule : Ability to work a 12-hour, Monday - Thursday, day shift (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM), with availability for overtime on Fridays

Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform industrial maintenance for extrusion and injection molding manufacturing equipment to ensure uninterrupted and optimal operations.
• Preventative Maintenance: Execute and continuously improve preventative maintenance (PM) procedures.
• Changeovers: Participate in equipment changeovers, ensuring efficient and correct execution.
• Parts Repair: Repair and rebuild spare parts as needed.
• Compliance: Assure strict compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Continuous Learning: Expand your expertise through formal training and hands-on experience, including new equipment installations and modification projects.

Essential Functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 75lbs
• standing for 12 hours at one timeworking up to 15 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
