Job description

Responsible for repairs and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, plumbing, architectural features, wall and floor finishes, and other components pertinent to the common areas of the shopping center. Uses various documentation to effectively and efficiently complete assigned tasks, including maintenance and repair procedures, manufacturer’s data, safety data sheets, preventative maintenance programs, and work orders. Executes and implements preventative maintenance and repair for all systems and equipment using developed skills and direction from the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor or others. Also coordinates and performs maintenance and repair for other department systems. Prepares written repair records, logs, test reports, work orders, etc. to accurately document work performed. Monitors and reports to supervision the inventory of parts and supplies for the Operations Department as tasked. Uses and maintains all furnishings, equipment, and tools in safe working order. Reports to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor or Management staff conditions that require further attention to ensure unsafe conditions are not created or perpetuated. Provides input and feedback to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to minimize repair and maintenance expenses within the department.

Work in the common areas (halls, entrances, bathrooms, etc.) of Easton Mall. The maintenance lead is not responsible for the stores; tenants are responsible for their own maintenance. The position operates on the 1st shift from Tuesday to Saturday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
