Our client, a leading food manufacturing and distribution company in Aston, PA, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to join their growing team!

This is an on-site/full-time/direct hire position

Salary based on experience: $30-$40/HR

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills to maintain and repair complex machinery and systems.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical components, and mechanical parts
• Controls Engineering experience required
• Daily checks of equipment and walk-throughs to assess punch list/tasks for the day
• Troubleshoot issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis techniques to identify root causes
• Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks
• Repair or replace components involving high-voltage or low-voltage electrical systems following safety protocols
• Conduct welding operations
• Maintain safety standards by working with equipment like scissor lifts and adhering to OSHA regulations
• Assist in the installation of new machinery or upgrades to existing systems
• Support field service activities as needed for equipment troubleshooting at various locations within the facility or customer sites
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings for complex mechanical and electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures during maintenance activities
• 1st shift requirement for start time

Experience

• Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment
• Strong background working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical systems
• Experience with HVAC/R systems, including troubleshooting and repairs involving HVAC/R units or related equipment
• Hands-on welding experience
• Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management
• Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, precision measuring instruments, and electrical testing tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters
• Experience working with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems in an industrial setting
• Background in industrial electrician work or related technical fields preferred
• Military experience in maintenance or technical roles is a plus
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent analysis skills to diagnose issues effectively
