Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support a high-velocity manufacturing environment in Manchester, PA. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and precise adjustments across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities include rapid response to breakdowns, accurate documentation, and collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.

Role SnapshotSupport a high-velocity manufacturing environment by maximizing uptime, ensuring safe operations, and elevating equipment reliability.

What You Will Tackle

• Preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and precise adjustments
• Troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems
• Rapid response to breakdowns and emergencies
• Accurate documentation of work orders and equipment history
• Assistance with installations, modifications, testing, and startup/commissioning
• Cross-functional collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality
• Continuous improvement and process enhancement recommendations
• Support for shutdowns, changeovers, and special projects
• Maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work area
• Strict adherence to safety, food safety, quality, and environmental procedures

Must-Haves

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, food production, or comparable environments
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting ability
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Nice-to-Haves

• Technical degree, apprenticeship, or vocational training in Maintenance, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology, or related
• Experience with PLCs, automation systems, VFDs, robotics, and industrial controls
• Trade certifications (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Welding, etc.)
• Food manufacturing background and GMP knowledge

Physical Demands

• Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing for extended periods
• Regular lifting/moving of up to 50 lbs
• Working at heights and in confined spaces as required
• Use of required PPE

• Manufacturing setting with exposure to: Moving machinery and industrial equipment
