Maintenance Laborers are responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the maintenance facility grounds. They may also perform custodial duties in offices, maintenance shops, etc., and assist in various lines of business, including container painting and sticker application.

Responsibilities of the Position:

1. Maintain the facility grounds, including shop cleaning, road calls for spill cleanup, parts pickup, and surrounding areas.
2. Operate various manual, electrical, and gas-powered tools and equipment.
3. Ensure the safe operation of all equipment and tools per company policy and OSHA standards.
4. Assist with organizing and distributing waste carts and bins.
5. Pressure wash and perform minor repairs on shop tools, bins, and containers.
6. Drive safely while transporting, loading, and unloading supplies, parts, and tools.
7. Perform general housekeeping in maintenance shops and offices.
8. Perform minor repairs and upkeep of the maintenance facility.
9. Clean, prepare, and paint containers.
10. Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
11. Assist in various business lines as needed, such as technician helper.
12. Work safely, complying with all regulations and policies.
13. Support other projects or areas as required.

Skills & Abilities Needed:

1. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
2. Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
3. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
4. Safety conscious.
5. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

2. Exposure to waste from residential and commercial sources.
3. Flexible working hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
