Job description

Maintenance Laborers are responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the maintenance facility grounds. Laborers may also perform custodial duties in offices, maintenance shops, and assist in various lines of business, including painting containers and supporting paint shop needs.

Shift: 5am-7pm

Days: Friday-Sunday

Responsibilities of Position:

• Maintain the facility grounds, including shop cleaning, oil spill clean-up, parts pickup, and surrounding areas.
• Operate hand-held manual, electrical, and gas-powered tools and equipment.
• Ensure the safe operation of all equipment and tools per company policy and OSHA standards.
• Assist with waste cart and bin organization and distribution.
• Pressure-wash and perform minor repairs on tools, bins, and containers.
• Transport, load, and unload supplies, parts, and tools safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of shops and offices.
• Perform minor repairs and paint containers.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
• Support other lines of business as needed, such as technician helper roles.
• Perform all duties safely, complying with regulations and policies.
• Assist in other projects or areas as required.

Skills & Abilities Needed:

• Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, carrying, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
• Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Safety-conscious attitude.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Exposure to residential and commercial waste.
• Flexible working hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license if applicable.
