Schedule: 6:00AM-8:00PM, Monday to Friday

Maintenance Laborers are responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the maintenance facility grounds. They may also perform custodial duties in offices, maintenance shops, and assist in various lines of business, including painting containers, stickering new containers, and supporting paint shop needs.

Responsibilities of the Position

• Maintain the facility grounds, including shop cleaning, oil spill cleanup, parts pickup, and surrounding areas.
• Operate various manual, electrical, and gas-powered tools and equipment.
• Ensure the safe operation of all equipment and tools according to company policy and OSHA standards.
• Assist with organizing and distributing waste carts and bins.
• Pressure-wash and perform minor repairs on shop tools, bins, and containers.
• Drive safely while transporting, loading, and unloading supplies, parts, and tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shops and offices.
• Perform minor repairs and general upkeep of the maintenance facility.
• Clean, prepare, and paint containers.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
• Assist in other areas or projects as needed, such as technician helper roles.
• Perform duties safely, complying with all regulations and policies.

Skills & Abilities Needed

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
• Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and minimal supervision.
• Safety-conscious.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

• Exposure to residential and commercial waste.
• Flexible working hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S., with a valid driver’s license if applicable.
