Job summary

GAS GLOBAL SERVICES is seeking a Maintenance Inventory Specialist in Pasadena, TX to support inventory consolidation, data accuracy, and warehouse operations while collaborating with Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, IT and warehouse teams.

The role requires 7 years of experience in supply chain or inventory management (MRP) with Maximo preferred; strong Oracle and Excel skills, and a proven ability to improve inventory data and processes.

Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience in supply chain management or inventory/asset management using MRP systems.
  • Experience managing maintenance inventory/assets in Maximo preferred.
  • Strong experience with Oracle, Excel/Google Sheets, and forklift operations.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance planning or plant reliability processes.
  • Strong ability to positively influence others to achieve objectives.
  • Strong listening and responsiveness with a willingness to assist others.
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to make plans and analyze situations.
  • Strong information-seeking and research skills with the ability to involve others.
  • Strong attention to order and quality with the ability to develop and follow systems.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a safe work environment and support safety objectives.
  • Coordinate transfer and logistics of maintenance inventory to the Pasadena warehouse.
  • Support the closure of satellite locations and related updates in Maximo.
  • Participate in maintenance inventory projects and initiatives.
  • Collect, update, and analyze inventory data to identify gaps and improve efficiency.
  • Determine which inventory should remain at the site and which should be transferred to the warehouse.
  • Work with IT on system adjustments and additions, including virtual warehouses.
  • Evaluate and document spare parts inventory at satellite warehouses.
  • Ensure inventory data is accurate and complete.
  • Identify and resolve duplicate or inaccurate data in Maximo and Oracle.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, suppliers, and other teams on inventory data cleanup.
  • Develop and improve processes for maintaining accurate and efficient inventory data.
  • Register and maintain maintenance inventory in Maximo and Oracle as required.
  • Develop and maintain reports, KPIs, metrics, procedures, tools, and training materials.
  • Conduct inventory analysis and assess inventory management processes.
  • Report progress to stakeholders, including plant management, corporate reliability management, and supply chain management.

Pay Rate/Salary
  • $35.00/hr. Actual compensation is subject to variation due such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location
