Job summary

Equiliem is seeking an Inventory Specialist in Pasadena, TX to support maintenance inventory consolidation, data management, and warehouse coordination. You will work with multiple internal teams to coordinate transfers, tracking, and analysis of maintenance inventory.

The role requires strong experience with Oracle, Excel or Google Sheets, and forklift operation, and involves supporting consolidation projects, data accuracy improvements, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Seven or more years of experience in supply chain management, inventory management, asset management, or related field.
  • Strong experience working with MRP systems.
  • Strong Oracle experience, including inventory management, data maintenance, and system-based inventory activities.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including data analysis, reporting, tracking, and inventory management activities.
  • Forklift experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a safe work environment and follow all established safety policies and procedures.
  • Support maintenance inventory consolidation initiatives and coordinate the transfer and logistics of inventory to the designated warehouse.
  • Assist with the preparation and closure of satellite inventory locations.
  • Coordinate inventory location closures and inventory updates within Maximo and other applicable systems.
  • Initiate, support, and participate in maintenance inventory and supply chain improvement projects.
  • Collect, review, analyze, and update inventory data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify data gaps and develop solutions to improve inventory visibility, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Determine which inventory items should be classified as operating consumables and managed according to established procedures.
  • Determine which maintenance inventory should be transferred to the central warehouse and tracked in Maximo and other required systems.
  • Evaluate and document physical maintenance inventory at satellite warehouse locations.
  • Review item attributes to ensure inventory information is complete and accurate.
  • Identify duplicate, inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated inventory data within Maximo, Oracle, and other operating systems.
  • Partner with Industrial Direction, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, and suppliers to coordinate inventory data cleanup activities.
  • Register and maintain maintenance inventory records in Maximo and Oracle as required.
  • Work with IT and internal stakeholders to support system enhancements, process changes, and inventory management solutions.
  • Assist with the implementation of system adjustments, including virtual warehouse structures or other inventory management improvements.
  • Create and improve processes for collecting, maintaining, and managing inventory data.
  • Develop and maintain inventory-related procedures, tools, and training materials.
  • Create and maintain activity reports, status reports, catalog management reports, KPIs, metrics, and inventory tracking tools.
  • Conduct inventory analysis and assess inventory management procedures using established industry practices and tools.
  • Report inventory project progress, risks, findings, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders and management teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, process efficiency, and data quality.
  • Operate forklifts as needed to support inventory movement, consolidation, and warehouse activities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for supporting maintenance inventory consolidation, data management, inventory accuracy, and warehouse coordination initiatives. This role works closely with Industrial Direction, Supply Chain, warehouse, Finance, Procurement, IT, and other internal stakeholders to coordinate the transfer, tracking, analysis, and management of maintenance inventory.

The position requires strong experience with Oracle, Excel or Google Sheets, and forklift operation, as these tools and skills are central to the day-to-day responsibilities of the role. The Maintenance Inventory Specialist will support inventory consolidation projects, improve inventory data accuracy, identify process gaps, maintain inventory records in applicable systems, and develop reporting and metrics to support business priorities.

Job Requirements

Education
  • College degree required.
Work Experience
  • Experience managing maintenance inventory or assets within Maximo is preferred.
  • Experience supporting inventory consolidation, warehouse operations, inventory optimization, or supply chain improvement initiatives is preferred.
  • Experience working with Oracle and Maximo inventory data is strongly preferred.
