Job summary

Veolia is seeking a maintenance supervisor/manager to oversee maintenance operations at the Hemlock, MI facility. The role involves planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities, managing inventories, and coordinating purchasing and vendor interactions to ensure on-time project completion.

You will lead maintenance staff and contract personnel, ensure budget adherence, and drive reliability improvements in a chemical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher required with relevant maintenance/engineering background.
• Minimum 4 years of maintenance and/or project execution experience, preferably in chemical manufacturing.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of CMMS and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage Chemical, Expendable, and Spare Part inventories, purchasing and receiving.
• Coordinate with Operations to receive chemicals.
• Obtain quotes and acquire materials, equipment, and services.
• Manage Maintenance Employees and Contractors.
• Plan, Schedule, and Execute Maintenance (PM and Daily) activities.
• Work with Purchasing and others to issue Purchase Orders, perform goods receipt and track budgets.
