Charter Next Generation, Inc. is offering a Summer Maintenance Internship in Milton, WI.

You will assist with preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, read technical drawings, perform basic electrical checks, and support safety procedures while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We seek a current undergraduate or graduate student in industrial maintenance, electronics, or a related field.

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program, ideally with a focus in industrial maintenance, Electronics, or related technical field preferred.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment and utilities.
• Support installation, adjustment, and replacement of machine components.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting, calibrations, and alignments.
• Read and follow technical drawings and equipment documentation.
• Perform basic mechanical and electrical checks using standard tools.

The Role

• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment and utilities
• Support installation, adjustment, and replacement of machine components
• Assist with basic troubleshooting, calibrations, and alignments
• Read and follow technical drawings and equipment documentation
• Perform basic mechanical and electrical checks using standard tools
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements
• Operate material handling equipment safely with training
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Complete work orders and support training and development activities

Schedule :

• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (flexible)
• 2027 Summer Internship
