Job summary

Genesiscareers in Rhode Island is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs on handrails, HVAC systems, and related facilities. Candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent with basic wiring, plumbing and carpentry knowledge.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies and potentially stepping in for the maintenance supervisor in their absence. The role offers a variable compensation plan and a broad benefits package including health, dental, vision, company-paid life

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic wiring, plumbing and carpentry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Changes filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies.
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence.
