Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance professional to maintain and repair facilities at our Cumberland, Rhode Island location.

You will handle minor repairs to building components and equipment, replace HVAC filters, move and stock supplies, and stand in for the Maintenance supervisor when required. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Changes filters on HVAC equipment
• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence
