PowerBack Rehabilitation in Marmet, WV is seeking a Maintenance Assistant dedicated to keeping the nursing center and grounds clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and staff. You will perform a range of maintenance tasks and assist the supervisor in their absence.

Responsibilities include minor repairs to handrails, HVAC filters, stocking supplies, and helping with general upkeep to ensure a pleasant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Assistant completes a variety of tasks to maintain the nursing center and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition along with a pleasing appearance.

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers
• Changes filters on HVAC equipment
• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.
