Genesis HealthCare in Marmet, WV is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to keep the nursing center and grounds in clean, safe, and welcoming condition. You will perform a range of upkeep and repair tasks, from minor fixes to supervising during the supervisor's absence.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to keep nursing center and grounds clean, safe, and orderly.
• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, ger i-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Change filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carry, lift and stock supplies.
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in their absence.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Assistant completes a variety of tasks to maintain the nursing center and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition along with a pleasing appearance.

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers
• Changes filters on HVAC equipment
• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence
