Working under the supervision of the Maintenance Foreman, the Maintenance Helper is responsible for performing general maintenance duties and assisting the Maintenance Technicians with repairs, and preventive maintenance functions on the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems of the property.

Job responsibilities include

• Ensures that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner.
• Removes dirt, dust, grease, film, etc. from surfaces using proper cleaning solutions.
• Discards waste and trash into proper containers and relines trash receptacles with plastic liners.
• Assures that equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift.
• Follows assigned work schedule as closely as practical.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of proper usage and safe operation of basic hand tools and power tools used in making repairs.
• Must report for work on time and on a regular basis as scheduled.
