Job summary

Seasons at Elgin Apartments in Elgin, IL is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance & Grounds Technician to keep units and common areas in top shape, addressing resident requests with a focus on safety and service. You will prepare vacant apartments for occupancy, perform preventative maintenance, and handle seasonal grounds work around the property.

On-call rotation and training opportunities are part of the role; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or related field preferred.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required.
• Willing to attend training and obtain certifications as needed.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to residents promptly.

Responsibilities

• Address diverse maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy to market-ready condition.
• Communicate unresolved issues to the Property Manager for resolution.
• Perform seasonal grounds work and upkeep around the property.
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining common areas and facilities.
• Support preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
• Participate in on-call emergency repairs and snow events as scheduled.
