Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Waldorf, Maryland is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support building and grounds upkeep across the community. You will operate tools, perform semi-skilled repairs, and assist with safety drills and resident transport as required.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of maintenance experience.
• Must be detail oriented and organized to complete tasks on time.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tools and machines used in the maintenance trade.
• Order materials, receive calls, and perform repairs as directed.
• Maintain exterior grounds and assist with landscaping and trash removal.
• Perform basic electrical work such as changing light bulbs.
• Assist with resident safety drills and transport residents when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
