Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED with 12 months of manual labor experience.
• Must have a valid State of Florida Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Operates light equipment such as mowers, sod cutters, mini excavators, backhoes.
• Deliver, setup and breakdown for city-wide events as needed.
• Maintain street cleanliness and debris removal.
• Perform minor repairs and cleaning of city facilities, including sidewalks.
• Paint city facilities both exterior and interior.
• Collect debris and load into trucks; load/unload trucks.
• Move heavy material like pipe, lumber, gravel and furniture.
• Assist in disaster response and recovery operations.
• Sweep streets, gutters and alleys; manage waste loads.
