Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months of unskilled or heavy manual labor experience.
• Current valid Florida driver’s license.
• Combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction, maintenance, cleaning, repairs, and installations in City facilities.
• Form and pour sidewalks and concrete.
• Break and replace asphalt and concrete pavement.
• Operate hand tools such as saws, drills, and jack hammers.
• Move and carry heavy materials such as pipe, lumber, gravel, sand and furniture.
• Assist plumbers, carpenters, and skilled trades as directed.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Washes and cleans vehicles.
