Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a General Maintenance technician for the 1st shift in Forest, Mississippi. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment while upholding Tyson safety standards and procedures.

The role requires strong reading/writing skills, a current state driver’s license, and the ability to complete on-the-job paperwork. Candidates from within the facility or complex are preferred; relocation assistance is not offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a current valid State driver’s license.
• No DUI/DWI conviction within the past 12 months.
• Must not have more than 6 points on driving record in the past 6 months.
• Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and communicate across all management levels.
• Physical ability to perform the duties with or without accommodation.

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Must not have more than 6 points and no written warnings within the past 6 months

MVR Requirements

Must be 18 years of age, must have a Current Valid State issued Driver’s License.

No DUI/DWI conviction within the past 12 months.

Proficiency in reading and writing.
