Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment across our production facilities. You will partner with production teams to ensure safe, reliable operation and adherence to Tyson policies.

The role requires 1 year of maintenance experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push 100 lbs, and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance experience within the immediate past 2 years.
• Ability to inspect equipment, recognize potential problems and fix them to prevent downtime.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Preventively maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, replaces and alters defective equipment.
• Provides maintenance on complex production equipment.
• Maintains electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Operates industrial equipment (skyjack, forklift, boomlift).
• Maintains maintenance logs and ensures a clean, safe work area.
• Complies with safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
