Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Generalist to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems in our Kentucky plant. The role emphasizes minimizing downtime, ensuring food safety, and upholding Tyson's safety culture.
The successful candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, read schematics, and assist with installations and upgrades, while maintaining accurate records and working safely with tools and equipment.
Job Details: The Maintenance Generalist is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support efficient plant operations. This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, ensuring food safety, maintaining equipment reliability, and promoting a safe work environment while adhering to Tyson Foods policies and procedures. Responsibilities are based on existing Tyson maintenance job descriptions and Forest facility references.
Rehiring Criteria: Applicant must not have worked for Tyson more than a total of 3 times prior. Applicants must also have completed at least 180 days since their last employment with Tyson.
