Tyson Foods Newton Hatchery in Newton, MS is seeking a Maintenance Generalist MG03 for 1st shift. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment across the facility, using hand tools, power tools, and automated systems. Data entry into handheld devices is required for preventive maintenance records.

The role demands physical stamina, the ability to work in dusty, cold, damp or hot environments, and collaboration with contractors to ensure proper equipment use and uptime.

Qualificações

• Six months operator experience with one employer in the previous 12 months.
• Three to five years related industrial experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment across the plant.
• Operate automated equipment, saws, sheet metal shears, drills, grinders and ladders as needed.
• Enter data into handheld computer system.
• Work with contractors to ensure proper equipment use.
• Maintain machines and keep them clean.
