Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a dependable Regional Maintenance Assistant to support our skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers across New Jersey. This full-time hourly position requires travel between Monmouth, Essex, Union, Somerset, Middlesex, and Mercer Counties to keep facilities operating safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a solid maintenance background, strong troubleshooting skills, and can multitask across sites while collaborating with facility leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintenance, handyman, facilities, construction, or building operations experience required.
• Healthcare or senior living experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to travel regularly between facilities.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on facility equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and building issues.
• Complete general maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and equipment upkeep.
• Assist with facility inspections and safety compliance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Travel between facilities across Monmouth, Essex, Union, Somerset, Middlesex, and Mercer Counties.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities across locations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Work independently while coordinating with leadership and team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Maintenance Director or Administrator.

Support Multiple Skilled Nursing Centers Across New Jersey

Complete Care is seeking a dependable, skilled, and motivated Regional Maintenance Assistant to support our skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers throughout Monmouth, Essex, Union, Somerset, Middlesex, and Mercer Counties.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Maintenance, handyman, facilities, construction, or building operations experience required
• Long-term care, healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living experience is preferred but not required
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or trade certifications preferred
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
• Ability to travel regularly between assigned facilities
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
• Computer proficiency preferred
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented

Schedule:

• Full-Time Hourly Position
• Primarily Day Shift Hours
• Flexible schedule required to support multiple centers
• Participation in emergency on-call rotation required
• Must be available to assist facilities during evenings, weekends, and off-hours emergencies when needed
