Job summary

BD is seeking a maintenance professional to perform preventive maintenance on equipment and maintain clean room and building systems at our Woburn site in Massachusetts. You will coordinate with vendors, manage inventories, and document repairs to minimize downtime, while supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in mechanical repair of manufacturing equipment, basic PLC and HVAC knowledge, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent of more than 5 years experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of complex manufacturing equipment.
• Forklift certification with at least 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment per schedule and document it.
• Maintain clean room (Class 10,000) and building systems.
• Troubleshoot processes and equipment; implement corrective actions.
• Complete repair reports for production equipment and support continuous improvement programs.
