Job summary

BD in the United States (MA – Woburn) seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on complex manufacturing equipment and support clean room operations. The role involves documenting maintenance, coordinating vendor services, and ensuring inventory of parts and supplies.

Requirements include 1–3 years of mechanical repair experience, a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and knowledge of GMP/ISO regulations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of complex manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of machine tooling.
• Basic knowledge of GMP/ISO regulations and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment per schedule and document activities.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and inventory; coordinate with vendors for services.
• Troubleshoot processes and equipment; implement corrective actions.
• Complete detailed repair reports for production equipment.
• Support continuous improvement programs and participate in implementation.
• Inform management of downtime and maintenance status.
• Operate power tools to fabricate/adjust parts as needed.
