Job summary

Montana Precision Products is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities assistant to support custodial duties across the manufacturing shop. You will help maintain clean, organized work areas and assist with basic facility services.

Responsibilities include tool and equipment operation, safety adherence, and routine maintenance tasks. This role requires English literacy, basic computer skills, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Proficiency with basic computer tasks (documentation, scheduling).
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen or background check.

Responsibilities

• Assists Maintenance/Facilities by executing custodial duties and keeping shop orderly.
• Operates hand and power tools and tests equipment as qualified.
• Operates forklifts, aerial lifts, and other company vehicles.
• Follows safety guidelines and procedures.
• Maintains clean work area and regular schedule.
• Performs service, cleaning, and stocking of facility supplies.
• Maintains exterior of building including snow removal and lawn care, as assigned.
• Performs production duties as directed.
