Job summary

Montana Precision Products is seeking a maintenance/custodial team member to uphold cleanliness and order across the manufacturing shop floor. You will perform routine custodial duties and supporting tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include operating tools and lifts, following safety guidelines, maintaining the work area, and assisting with production-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be a US person.
• Ability to read/write/speak English.

• Operates forklifts, aerial lifts and other company vehicles.
• Follows all safety guidelines and procedures.

• Maintains exterior of the building including snow removal and lawn maintenance.
• Follows additional instructions including production duties.

Job Summary:

Assists the Maintenance/Facilities department by executing custodial duties to maintain orderliness and cleanliness throughout the manufacturing shop. Performs other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Uses hand and power tools, machine tools, and tests equipment as qualified.
• Operates forklifts, aerial man lifts, and other company vehicles.
• Follows all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Keeps work area clean and free from debris.
• Maintains regular work schedule.
• Service, clean, and supply facility with necessary items.
• Maintains exterior of the building including but not limited snow removal, lawn maintenance, etc.
• Follows these and additional instructions as assigned, including production duties.

Work Environment:

• May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, smoke (Not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels).
• Bending, twisting, and working from aerial lifts and in confined spaces, lifting up to 25-45lbs on an occasional basis.
• Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with applicable law, industry standards and company policy.

• Basic computer skills
