Job summary

Montana Precision Products is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities assistant to keep the manufacturing shop clean and orderly. The role involves custodial tasks and supporting the maintenance team with basic facility duties.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and ability to read/write/speak English. Pre-employment drug screen or background check may be required. OSHA safety guidelines are emphasized throughout daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Execute custodial duties to maintain cleanliness throughout the shop.

• Keep work area clean and free from debris.
• Support facility services and supply needs.
• Maintain exterior building as required.

Job Summary:

Assists the Maintenance/Facilities department by executing custodial duties to maintain orderliness and cleanliness throughout the manufacturing shop. Performs other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Uses hand and power tools, machine tools, and tests equipment as qualified.
• Operates forklifts, aerial man lifts, and other company vehicles.
• Follows all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Keeps work area clean and free from debris.
• Maintains regular work schedule.
• Service, clean, and supply facility with necessary items.
• Maintains exterior of the building including but not limited snow removal, lawn maintenance, etc.
• Follows these and additional instructions as assigned, including production duties.

Work Environment:

• May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, smoke (Not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels).
• Bending, twisting, and working from aerial lifts and in confined spaces, lifting up to 25-45lbs on an occasional basis.
• Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with applicable law, industry standards and company policy.

Requirements
