Job summary

AWARE Inc. is seeking Maintenance Technicians in Montana to join our team. The role includes constructing, repairing, and maintaining building structures, grounds, and vehicles, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include material purchasing, site inspections, and assisting in safety and licensing processes for group homes. Montana driver’s license and five years of maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Considerable knowledge of general maintenance practices.
• Ability to problem-solve, repair, and generate cost-effective solutions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with a variety of staff.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, conforming to local building codes.
• Repairs and maintains the physical structures of group homes and corporate buildings, including electrical switches and fixtures.
• Keeps grounds well-kept and performs seasonal outdoor duties.
• Conducts monthly safety inspections and maintains records for compliance.
