RiverCity Industries is a custom metal fabrication and manufacturing company with more than 20 years in business. We are seeking a reliable Maintenance & Facilities Technician to help maintain our facility, equipment, and operations.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and capable of handling basic electrical and troubleshooting tasks. Responsibilities include general building maintenance, preventative maintenance on machinery, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferred.
• Intermediate electrical knowledge.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience with general building maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building and facility maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, mechanical, and equipment issues.
• Install and replace outlets, switches, lighting, and other electrical components.
• Assist with equipment hookups and basic wiring projects.
• Diagnose common machine and equipment issues and report findings.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and facility systems.
• Painting
• Drywall repair
• Minor plumbing repairs
• Carpentry work
• Door and hardware repairs
• Replace motors, belts, bearings, sensors, and other common maintenance items.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Job Description Position SummaryWe are seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance & Facilities Technician to help maintain our facility, equipment, and general operations. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, comfortable performing general repairs, and capable of handling basic electrical and troubleshooting tasks.This is not an engineer or master electrician position. We are looking for someone who can diagnose common issues, perform routine repairs, maintain equipment and facilities, and recognize when a problem requires a specialized contractor or electrician.

Preferred Experience

• Industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience working around 240V and 480V equipment.
• Electrical troubleshooting.
