Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain production machinery, read electrical and mechanical blueprints, and perform routine preventive maintenance. You will support calibration activities, manage CMMS entries, and uphold strict safety and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience, proficiency with Prism/Wonderware/SharePoint, and the ability to work in a team on complex projects while maintaining high reliability of equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in industrial settings.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with CMMS software for preventive maintenance tracking.
• Blue-collar technician capable of working with limited supervision.
• Experience with safety, OSHA and EPA regulations in plant operations.
• Proficient in basic mechanical measurements and calibration basics.

• Must be able to work in a team environment Minimum of 5 years' experience as a craftsman, electromechanics, or maintenance technician experience
• Board certification or equivalent experience in one or more of the following fields: electrical wiring, welding, HVAC maintenance, pipe fitting, or hydraulics.
• Excellent skill in all major areas of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Excellent skill in the repair of production equipment mechanical problems
• Excellent skill in milling of metals, servicing of boilers, mechanical troubleshooting and/or electrical troubleshooting, compressed air equipment, and painting.
• Thorough understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations as they pertain to plant operation and maintenance
• Good experience with plant safety and fire protection systems.
• Good experience using CMMS Software
