Job summary

Heraeus Materials Singapore Pte Ltd in Ohio seeks a skilled technician to maintain and repair our facilities and manufacturing equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations. The role includes troubleshooting machines, supporting preventive and predictive maintenance, managing spare parts and service contracts, and coordinating with suppliers for installation and service activities.

A Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years’ hands-on experience are required;

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in machine troubleshooting and maintenance preferred.
• Experience with electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in machine troubleshooting including abnormal facility breakdowns.
• Support machine/facility preventive maintenance and autonomous maintenance.
• Execute TPM, preventive and predictive maintenance, including spare parts inventory and service contracts.
• Support implementation and buy-off of new manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with suppliers for installation and servicing.
• Carry out troubleshooting to ensure continuous production.

Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our facilities and equipment, ensuring optimal operational performance. This position is critical to maintaining a safe, efficient working environment and supporting the continuity of our manufacturing and production operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in machine troubleshooting and, inclusive of abnormal machine facility infrastructure breakdown, troubleshooting machine, support in establishing machine operating SOP and troubleshooting guide

• Support machine/facility PM schedule activity and autonomous maintenance

• Executing TPM, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance work acitivty, including spare parts inventory & service contracts, to enhance Manufacturing/Facility Equipment performance.

• Support and Implementation and buy-off of new Manufacturing Equipment

• Collaborate with and manage suppliers to support installation, servicing activity.

• Carry out troubleshooting of Plant / Manufacturing Equipment to ensure continuous production.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or any other related fields

• At least 3 years of experience in machine troubleshooting and performing machine maintenance is preferred.

• Working experience in dealing with Electro-Mechanical Equipment is preferred.

• Machine maintenance and facility troubleshooting related knowledge and practical experience prefer.

• Skill set of soldering and wiring knowledge is required

• Good mechanical, facility and machinery understanding will be preferred.

• Knowledge in Electrical and/or Mechanical.

• Able to read and under electrical diagram is preferred.

• Willing to perform shift work (Morning or Night shift)
