Job summary

Casadonna in Mesa, AZ is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead our maintenance department. This hands-on leader will oversee preventive maintenance programs, manage a team of technicians, and ensure safe, reliable operation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems across our facility.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial or hospitality maintenance, 2+ years in supervision, and strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial, hospitality, institutional, or multifamily maintenance experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license (if required for the position).
  • Preferred: Associate degree or technical/trade school education.
  • CMMS experience and vendor contract/budget management are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate the maintenance team.
  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for all building systems, equipment, and grounds.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and coordinate emergency repairs.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance, repair, and safety needs.
  • Oversee repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, structural, and general building systems.
  • Coordinate and supervise outside contractors, vendors, and service providers.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance tools, equipment, parts, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and applicable building codes.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets, maintenance schedules, and operating expenses.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspections, and preventive maintenance documentation.
  • Assist with capital improvement projects, renovations, and facility upgrades.
  • Support operational efficiency while promoting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Salary: $70,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead the daily operations of our maintenance department. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing preventive maintenance programs, managing maintenance staff, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all building systems, and maintaining a high standard of service throughout our facility.   • EPA Section 608 HVAC Certification
  • NATE (North American Technician Excellence) Certification
  • Journeyman or Master Plumber License
  • Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent electrical certification
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Annual Salary: $70,000–$75,000, depending on experience and qualifications
