Job summary

Wal-Mart Stores East, LP is seeking an experienced operations leader to drive facility goals, supervise maintenance teams and manage budgetary performance. You will forecast staffing needs, monitor expenses, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the maintenance and logistics functions.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and accountability for delivering operational excellence in a large retail setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Maintenance, Controls or Electrical plus 1 year of ops/logistics leadership experience.
• Or 3+ years in a maintenance/technical environment with leadership and staffing responsibilities.
• Attending and completing required trainings (e.g., Academy, Open Door).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing.
• Drive and implement the business plan for area of responsibility to achieve facility goals.
• Forecast and follow up on staffing workload and performance results.
• Monitor expenses; review and analyze business reports.
• Oversee maintenance department daily operations and safety compliance with state/federal regulations.
• Direct financial aspects by tracking expenses vs. budget and asset utilization.
