Job summary

Teknor Apex is seeking a custodial/facilities teammate to keep our plant clean and safe in Brownsville, TN. The role covers general housekeeping, trash removal, and maintaining sanitary conditions for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, stocking supplies, and following safety protocols. Candidates should have prior custodial experience and reliable transportation, with ability to lift 30 lbs and climb ladders as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean, sanitary, and healthy environment for the public and employees.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, wash windows, dust furniture, scrub tiles, sanitize restroom facilities, pick up debris, and replenish paper and soap dispensers.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and tools in good working order.
• Safely use custodial supplies, equipment, and machines.
• Transport and store chemicals and waste in proper containers and locations.
• Operate floor scrubber, scraper, pressure washer, and/or lift truck.
• Other functions as directed by supervisor and/or management.
• Work safely and wear PPE as needed.

General Function:

• Provide house/groundskeeping functions throughout the facility.
• Assist in training entry-level team members.
• Able to carry out assignments with minimum supervision.
