Job summary

Bienvivir El Paso is hiring a Maintenance Clerk to provide administrative support for the maintenance department. You will manage records, keep logs, answer calls, and prepare reports while coordinating with facilities, safety, and vendors to ensure timely work orders and budgets are maintained.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 1–2 years in a facility/maintenance setting, and strong written and verbal communication, with a Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of experience in a facility/maintenance setting or equivalent.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Clerical/business coursework is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain reports and documents for the department. Maintain contracts, payments, and receipts in centralized shared folders.
• Answer the telephone and respond to general questions; direct calls to appropriate staff.
• Type correspondence: reports, forms, schedules, and other materials.
• Assist in generating and tracking work orders and purchase orders; submit purchase requests.
• Assist with budgeting by tracking facility needs in the organization’s portal.
• Take minutes for Maintenance Department meetings and related sessions.
