Job summary

Spire Hospitality LLC is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to uphold the full operational functionality of our hotel. You and the engineering team will maintain and repair building systems, ensuring guest rooms and public spaces are safe and welcoming.

The role emphasizes proactive maintenance, prompt guest service, and meticulous documentation. The position requires at least one year of hotel maintenance experience and a high school diploma, with trade certs a plus; the team works a 4–10

• One year of maintenance and repair experience in hotels.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety and chemical standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service with warmth and attentiveness to our guests.
• Prioritize prompt responses to guest concerns and requests.
• Conduct proactive maintenance in guest rooms and public spaces.
• Support installation, repair, and upkeep of hotel facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Meticulously document all maintenance activities.
• Assist in room PMs, seasonal openings/closings, snow removal, sanitation services and pool upkeep.

This role will provide amazing guest service while maintaining the full operational functionality of the building. You and the entire engineering team are responsible for the repair, service, and preventative maintenance of all things within and outside of the hotel building. Essential Job Functions:

As a member of the engineering team, you will be tasked with assisting in room PMs, Seasonal openings and closings, Snow removal, Sanitation services and Pool monitoring and upkeep. The engineering team operates on a 4–10-hour daily schedule, with 3 days off each week. Weekends and Holidays are a must.

Physical Demands:

• Lift, push, pull, rotate 50 lbs or more
• Manual dexterity to operate and grasp tools
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Standing and walking up to a full 10 hours a day

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Trade school or General Maintenance/Technician certification a plus

Experience:

• One year of experience in general maintenance and repair work at hotels preferred
• One year of experience in general maintenance and repair work required
• Knowledge of OSHA Safety and Chemical Standards

Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
