Job summary

Spire Hospitality LLC is seeking an on-site Maintenance Engineer to ensure seamless operations of our hotel facilities and guest spaces. You will perform proactive and reactive maintenance, diagnose issues, and work with the engineering team to uphold safety and quality standards.

The role features an 4–10 hour daily schedule with three days off weekly, and an hourly pay of $21.00. Prior experience in hotel maintenance and OSHA/chemical safety knowledge are valued assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Trade school or General Maintenance/Technician certification a plus.
• One year of experience in general maintenance and repair work at hotels required.
• Knowledge of OSHA Safety and Chemical Standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service with warmth and attentiveness to our guests
• Prioritize prompt responses to guest concerns and requests
• Conduct proactive maintenance in guest rooms and public spaces
• Support the installation, repair, and upkeep of hotel facilities
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
• Meticulously document all maintenance activities
• Assist in room PMs, seasonal openings and closings, Snow removal, Sanitation services and Pool monitoring and upkeep

This role will provide amazing guest service while maintaining the full operational functionality of the building. You and the entire engineering team are responsible for the repair, service, and preventative maintenance of all things within and outside of the hotel building. Taking pride and passion for your work and working within a team.

Essential Job Functions:

As a member of the engineering team, you will be tasked with assisting in room PM’S, Seasonal openings and closings, Snow removal, Sanitation services and Pool monitoring and upkeep. The engineering team operates on a 4–10-hour daily schedule, with 3 days off each week. Weekends and Holidays are a must.

Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour

Physical Demands:

• Lift, push, pull, rotate 50 lbs or more
• Manual dexterity to operate and grasp tools
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Standing and walking up to a full 10 hours a day

• One year of experience in general maintenance and repair work at hotels preferred
• One year of experience in general maintenance and repair work required
