Job summary

Spire Hospitality, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our engineering team in keeping the hotel running smoothly and safely for guests. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and document all activities.

The role emphasizes guest service, teamwork, and proactive problem‑solving in a hotel environment. Eligibility includes a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and prior hotel maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade school certification a plus.
• One year of maintenance/repair experience in hotel settings preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards recommended.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service with warmth and attentiveness.
• Prioritize prompt responses to guest concerns and requests.
• Conduct proactive maintenance in guest rooms and public spaces.
• Support installation, repair, and upkeep of hotel facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Meticulously document all maintenance activities.

This role will provide amazing guest service while maintaining the full operational functionality of the building. You and the entire engineering team are responsible for the repair, service, and preventative maintenance of all things within and outside of the hotel building. Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver exceptional service with warmth and attentiveness to our guests

Physical Demands:

• Lift, push, pull, rotate 50 lbs or more
• Manual dexterity to operate and grasp tools
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Standing and walking up to a full 8 hours a day

Education:

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Trade school or General Maintenance/Technician certification a plus

Wage: $21.00-$23.00/ hour commensurate experience

Experience:

• Valid Driver's license required
• One year of experience in general maintenance and repair work at hotels preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA Safety and Chemical Standards preferred
