Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking a Maintenance Facilitator to lead shop organization, 5S initiatives, and materials management across multiple functional teams. This role supports data-driven maintenance processes using CMMS and VPS improvement methods to improve cost and performance.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in a mechanical or electrical field and 3 years of relevant experience, or 8 years without a degree. Shift flexibility and knowledge of industrial systems are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree related to mechanical or electrical field is required.
• 3 years of mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance experience with educational requirements OR 8 years without requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Facilitator, organize the Maintenance Shop and lead 5S initiatives, managing spare parts and materials.
• Support data management and CMMS (IFS), collaborating with other functions to improve maintenance problem solving.
• Execute and manage advanced stocks, purchase orders, and related functions.
• Conduct meetings and organize performance reporting (e.g., consumables).
• Promote and report employees’ ideas, facilitating VPS Continuous Improvement methods and tools.
• Collaborate with schedulers, buyers, fleet managers, storeroom personnel, programming and support areas to ensure volume delivery and availability.
