Job summary
AB Volvo in Dublin, VA is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer - Electrical to improve equipment reliability and lead maintenance strategies. You will leverage CMMS, Office 365, and Power BI to analyze failures and drive cross-functional collaboration across maintenance, production, and facilities.
The role requires designing high-level improvements and managing CBM projects within Volvo Group methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Associate Electrical Engineering degree with significant experience in an industrial maintenance environment with knowledge of industrial automation, robotics, and controls.
- Four years as an engineer with responsibilities related to equipment design or upkeep.
- Proficient in CAD software; CMMS/ERP; Proficient English communication.
Responsibilities
- Update equipment drawings and documentation as needed.
- Specify spare parts and coordinate with Central Stores.
- Plan replacement of obsolete parts and manage data for WOs.
- Lead EWO meetings to address downtime root causes.
- Generate/update maintenance reports and KPI data.
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve equipment uptime.
- Open, lead, and execute improvement projects to eliminate root-causes.
- Provide technical support for repairs and troubleshooting.
