Job summary

IPC in Indiana is seeking a dedicated fabricator/welder to join our maintenance team. You will respond quickly to equipment needs, fabricate and repair components, and help return lines to operation with safety and quality in mind.

Ideal candidates will read drawings, use MIG, TIG, and arc welding, and work closely with maintenance, production, and supervisors to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. IPC values teamwork, safety, and reliable results.

Qualifications

• Experience welding and fabricating metal parts to spec.
• Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, and measurements.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to communicate across maintenance and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Safely respond to equipment needs with welding and fabrication to minimize downtime.
• Fabricate, repair, and modify components using MIG, TIG, or arc welding.
• Support preventive maintenance by fabricating required parts.
• Interpret drawings and measure parts to spec.
• Maintain organized tools, materials, and documentation.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams while upholding IPC Core Values.
