Job summary

IPC Foundry Group is seeking a hands-on fabricator to serve as the execution arm of the engineering department. This role builds, modifies, tests, and installs engineering designs and projects on the production floor.

The ideal candidate reads prints, welds brackets, and troubleshoots on the shop floor, collaborating with engineers to resolve design issues before and during builds. Required experience in fabrication, welding, machining, or related work; ability to read engineering drawings

Qualifications

• Experience with fabrication, welding, machining, or other relevant experience
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and problem solve
• Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic shop machinery
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (SolidWorks experience is a plus)

About the role

The ideal candidate is someone who is equally comfortable reading a print, welding a bracket, and troubleshooting on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, weld, and assemble engineering and production projects
• Collaborate with engineers to clarify design and flag practical issues before and during builds
• Support root‑cause troubleshooting on the floor

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience with fabrication, welding, machining, or other relevant experience
