Job summary

IPC seeks a skilled fabricator/welder to join our Maintenance team. You’ll fabricate and repair metal components, safely minimize downtime, and return equipment to operation quickly and reliably.

You will read drawings, interpret blueprints, and operate MIG/TIG/Arc welding, torches, grinders, and lathes while ensuring quality and safety margins. Collaborate with maintenance and production, document work in Fiix, and uphold IPC Core Values of Attitude, Respect, and Effort.

Qualifications

• Skilled in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding across components and structures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience operating welding machines, cutting torches, grinders, and lathes safely.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment needs, fabricate and repair components to restore uptime.
• Maintain safety, quality workmanship, and effective communication.
• Document work performed in Fiix and close out work orders.
• Work with maintenance and production teams to prioritize urgent needs.
• Coordinate with team to ensure housekeeping and tool readiness.
